The work should be based on the tank’s actual condition, service chemistry, geometry, access, and quality-control plan—not on a one-size-fits-all liner specification.


Replacement or other action


Replacement, continued monitoring, or a broader system correction may be appropriate where the tank has extensive deterioration, a recurring condition, structural concerns, or conditions outside a reliable repair scope. The evaluation should state the limits of the recommendation clearly.
